ORA-03114: Not Connected to Oracle.

Hi All,

In production, I am loading the data from DSO 1 to DSO 2. While loading the data, i am getting the ABAP dump as

SQL Error 3114 occured while accessing the program

ORA-03114: Not Connected to Oracle.

The data loading is running for more than 1 hour and finally the Job got cancelled in the backend and got a ABAP Dump.

Can you pleas help on this issue.

Hi Jalina

If your facing the below error then please reach out to BASIS-DBA to check for database connection. This might be a network issue. Just to make sure rest of the data loads are happening try to schedule a master data info package and load it till target OR a Master data to DSO if your system has one

ORA-03114 not connected to
ORACLE

Cause: A call to Oracle was attempted when no connection
was established. Usually this happens because a user-written program has not
logged on. It may also happen if communication trouble causes a disconnection.

Action: Try again. If the message recurs and the program is user
written, check the program.

Problem Solved.

I just increased the Parallel processing in DTP and decreased the Data Package size from 50,000 to 20,000. Data ran successfully.
