SOLMAN doc approval process

Hi,

Need to know is there any approval work flow process exists in solution documentation for approving the documents at various levels. That is like once the document  is reviewed and approved by first person it should go automatically to next person for approval.

please suggest if any process exists for this.

Hi Sandeep,

You can use digital signature as an approval based on the status schema for the document, if you are uploading new document to the structure.This is within solution documentation and there is no workflow based approval procedure for this.

If you are looking for approval as such in Solution documentation, this is not available.

you can utilize the check-in/out functionality for maintenance project integrating with ChaRM, so you can utilize the approval procedure of the RFC as a means.

In case of an implementation project were your Go Live is far, you can make use of the ChaRM via SERVICE MESSAGES TAB in solar02. A CR can be created from here for any node in the structure and the check-in/out functionality can be utilized from with-in the CR.
