2013 CR, issue with DAO

I'm trying to use my Access Database and I'm receiving the following error:

Logon failed.

Details:  DAO Error Code:  0xd0f

Source:  DAO.Workspace

Description:  Unrecognized database format

Budget2015.accdb

I've read some other posts that suggested the version of CR was the issue, but I purchased mine today.  Please advise....pressure to get started from above

Thanks,

Lynette

Hi Lynette,

I edited your original post and changed the version of CR.

If you are limited to not having Office installed then ODBC is what you need to use.

If you have Office 2007 ( I think ) or above then use the OLE DB Provider and it can connect to accdb files:

The old Native Access ADO driver does not support ACCDB file format.

PS - do not use the OLE DB for ODBC, it just adds another layer on top...

It's 2013 version of Crystal Reports, purchased today.  Could it be ODBC related?
