Livecache 7.9 upgrade in SUM tool

Hi,

I would need to do SCM 7.0 EHP3 upgrade from SCM 7.0.

Is it possible to upgrade livecache also to 7.9 in the SUM upgrade SUM along with SCM? if yes, please let me know the steps.

As of now, I have done livecache upgrade manually.

Hi Daniel,

You need to use the DBUPDATE.sh & SDBUPD.sh for this and you wont be able to use SUM for the same.

Do refer to the Livecache/ MAx DB upgrade guide.

We generally recommend that you use the scripts LCUPDATE.SH or LCUPDATE.BAT for

the liveCache upgrade when you run the SCM upgrade to the higher version. These scripts are available on the SAP liveCache installation medium.

!!

Use the liveCache upgrade guide for the corresponding SCM upgrade target version.

Review the SCM upgrade guide & run the recommended preparation steps.

- What is the current version of the liveCache?

- Are you planning to run the liveCache on HANA?

Hi ,

Current SCM version is 7.0

Live cache is 7.7.07.45

No plan for HANA

Please guide now for running livecache upgrade along with SCM upgrade in the SUM tool
