Hi Karunakar,

Please change password for SAPLCS with Database studio.

Also use command user_sap to update upc file.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

according the posted information the liveCache upgrade failed at the end when the liveCache has to be initialized.

- Post the entries written in the dbm.prt at the time when the lcinit with init run -

23.12.2014

11:56

- What was the values of the liveCache parameter _UNICODE?

-  Review the SAP note 1055588.

- As "exec_lcinit init -e ascii" failed and the user was created - SAPLCS with DEFAULTCODE ASCII, I assume that your system is not unicode type. Correct?

- Update the message with output of "select * from users" statement.

Is the length of password of superdba user or SAPLCS grater as 9 characters?

- See the SAP note 2074842 &upgrade to the latest LCA/liveCache releases for SCM 7.02 - SAP note 2087281.

Check & be sure that the report /SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS has not been entered as a reprocessing report for any of the three database connections (LCA, LDA, or LEA), then you can use transaction LC10 to initialize the liveCache. Update with the results.

- Create the SAP message to component BC-DB-LVC & get SAP support.
