Hi experts,
Is it possible to assign specific measuring points to an operation of an work order? how?
If so, they will be suggested in the confirmation process for the creation of measuring documents?
Thanks,
Hi Pedro
Measurement Points can be assigned as PRTs at the operation level.
SAP Library - Inspection Rounds
This can be done for the Task List operations too.
This functionality has been there since Ehp4.

Greetings Pedro,
You may assign a Meauring Point to an Operation by using the PRT functionality.
Go to the Task List or Work Order Operations. You will need to input the (superior) Functional Location or Equipment of the Measuring Point in the appropriate field of the Operation.
Select the operation, click on the "PRT" (wrench & hammer) icon, then "Measuring Point" and make the assignment.
Note however that it is NOT proposed automatically when confirming the Operation in IW4*.

Hi Pedro,
I dont think you can assign at operation level.
If you have created the measurement point with respect to equipment, on IW41 confirmation, click the measurement documents icon - click All measuring points on object icon, this will input all the measuring points and you can enter measuring documents.
Additionally can you please specify the requirement of why you are trying to assign to operation ?
Regards
Terence
