Approve Timesheet doesn't load any entries

Hi Fiorians,

Initially we are not able to submit the time-sheet through fiori app as we are facing issue like the "submit" button is not enabled as we are able to submit the time-sheet as only draft,

But even the submitted draft entries are unable to find and in the front-end there is no entry also after saving as draft.

Now we are trying to check the approve time-sheet app by manually making entries in the back-end and trying to approve it through the app but no entries are found against the app but getting below error in console and /iwfnd/error_log

Kindly help me to solve this issue.

It says "Pending Entries". What is the behavior when you select the Approve Timesheet tile? Does the app work fine or is there some error?

Hi Bharani,

It looks OK. It is just the user does not have any approve items.

Please make sure that the user is the approver position. First, test the function in the backend. If it works fine in the backend, then test it in Fiori.

Hi Bharani,

??? means launchpad called the OData service whichi is maintained in the Dynamic tile but could not get any response back. You can find error information in the console and /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.

Hi Masa,

In the /IWFND/ERROR_LOG i am getting below error only and don't know what could be the problem and how to resolve it

"The request URL or the metadata definition is incorrect"

And the chrome console i am getting below error.

2015-03-06 10:14:11 Failed to update data via service : no handler for data - 200 OK -  sap.ushell.components.tiles.applauncherdynamic.DynamicTile

I was able to find only the below string from the /IWFND/ERROR_LOG

Go to tcode /iwfnd/traces .

Create a user on the left hand side pane, on the right hand side go to configuration pane , select error log level 'Full'.

Save the trace config and come out of the screen. Reproduce the error and go back to /IWFND/ERROR_LOG screen to see the full details.

Hi Bharani,

We need to look at the OData service which gets number of approval count.

Let's try other path.

Go to the launchpad designer and open the tile for Approve Leave Requests. Copy the Dynamic Service URL.

Test the OData service on browser or /IWFND/GW_CLIENT and find the error.

We need to look at "Approve TimeSheet" or "Approve Leave Requests" and not "My Leave Requests".

Hi Bharani,

If you get some number in the response, OData service call is OK. It means you have some UI issue and the OData service is not called. Please check the UI version.

Hi Bharani,

We have the same issue.The app is loading with all the entries in backend CATSDB table from ECC .

But when we click the app we see no entries for approval which is correct.

But the Launchpad number is wrong .as its showing the full count in actsdb.
