IW39 /MCI8 Report inconsistency

Issue 1:

MCI8 doesnot provide values for Total Actual Costs, Material Costs, Service Costs. Total Planned cost is only displayed in MCI8 .In maintenance order cost tab, the costs are correctly updated against the value categories and cost key figures tab. Also IW39 shows both planned and actual costs correctly.

Most of these orders are settled periodically and hence not closed.

Issue 2:

No of orders are shown incorrectly in MCI8. Some records show negative nos as well.

Value categories are assigned to required cost element groups  and value categories are assigned to the below cost key figures.

Key figure Value Category

IADIENKOS 415 Services

IAMATKOSE 400 Internal material

IAPERKOSE 600 Internal employees

In our business scenario we are settling order to G/L accounts. Does this impact cost in PMIS reports?

No, Settlement Receiver type not have an impact as far as I know. Costs are updated in the PMIS when they are posted.

Hi Roshini,

Try by regenerating Order cost using PMCO.

Hello!

I guess, you should check if the update is running correctly. The application tables in PM serve as a source of data which are transferred to information structures with the help of communication structures and uodate rules.

We have used standard PMIS reports. Asynchronous update for all except for s064. Period unit is month. s064 update is 'N'.
