Pictogram question

hello,

i am trying to follow as much of the user guide (v1.23) as possible.
section 6.3.2 adding text to pictogram on pg 121 is confusing to me.

it states that the pictogram feature requires a specific chart type on a infographic layout (see step 1)

i don't understand what this section is trying to explain, other then only on infographic layouts can text objects be added to/over a pictogram.

i tried this and i did not have a chart on the infographic page and was able to add text over a pictogram object.

this doesn't agree with the text.

i'm hoping someone can clear this section of the user guide up for me.

Hello -

apologies for the confusion. It looks like this section of the documentation was corrected in a later release. It now simply explains that you can drag a text box to a story page, or overlay a text box on another item such as a pictogram or a visualization.
