Adapter Metadata IDoc_AAE

Hi,

I am having some problems trying to generate the scenarios in the Integration Builder on SAP PI to integrate ERP with C4C using the templates from SWCV COD_ERP_INT_IC 6.00.

When I start to generate the configuration scenarios with the model configurator, it gave me the error that needs the Object Adaptar metadata IDOC_AAE from SAP_BASIS 7.30.

Message Error:

Unable to generate the communication channel (C4C_QAS, ERP_IDOC_AAE_Send): Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed. Detailed information: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata IDoc_AAE | http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: Software component version with name SAP BASIS 7.30 not found

When I add the SWCV that is required it gave the error that it doesn't exists.

Message Error:

After checking this, I have confirmed that the object doesn't exist in that SWCV instead it exist in the SWCV SAP_BASIS 7.40.

Could you help us undestand how can i make the template use the Object from the SWCV SAP_BASIS 7.40?

Hi,

This error occurs mostly because PI tries to read the Adapter Metadata from different SAP_BASIS version. And unable to convert the already existing version to the new one Such as if Cannels referring to BASIS 7.3, creates problem to refer to 7.4.

So below steps might help,

1. Import the required SAP BASIS SC version (7.0/7.1/7.4/7.4) to refer the correct Adapter Metadata version.
2. To avoid the error, try to create the channels manually, Instead of generating new one as part of wizard.
