Copy a job

Good day everyone,

Is there a way to copy a job to new one,  I tried creating and new job and then copy and paste the items from source job, then I modified the objects in the copy job but it turns that also changed the objects in the original job not matter that I did change the items on the copy not on the original.

Any help would be appreciated.

DS distinguishes between reusable and non-reusable objects. When you replicate a job, all non-reusable objects (scripts, conditionals, loops, global variables...) will be copied. Reusable objects (work flows, data flows...) not. Both jobs will refer to the same object. If you modify a flow in one job, the modifications will by definition apply to the other one as well.

You will have to replicate each and every reusable object if you really want them to become totally independent.
