Hi,
Can someone help me with the symbolic account creation.
I have created below wagetypes:
S.No Wagetyp Standard Wagetype(copiedfrom)
1. 4001 - MB10 - Basic
2. 4002 -M230 - HRA
3. 4003 - M220 -Conveyance
4. 4004 -M260 - Child Education
5. 4005 - M212 - Medical Insurance
6. 4006 -M210 - LTA
7. 4007 -M200 -Special
Copied custom wagetypes from standard and created payslip from PE51.
Payslip is running with all the wagetypes.
Now, What would be the next process to create Symbolic Account.
If someone can help me the process and configuration steps that will be a great help.
Looking forward for a positive response.
Thanks
Santhi

Hello,
To add on , from my experience, we mostly use Expense Account and Balance Sheet Account types.
You can check the settings done for the model WTs MB10, etc, to get an idea.
Please note that only when the credit is equal to debit then only the records will be posted to FI successfully.
For this to happen, you need to ensure all the relevant WTs are assigned to correctly, in addition to the WTs that you have copied, which are mainly earning, you need to assign the deductions and net payment WTs to SY A/C also, to balance them.
getting errors initially is common, so please do the correct assignments and do lots of testing of posting.
Regards,
Vishwas
