Ashok,
It sounds like you need to buy the Jeff Garbus book for SAP ASE 16.
99.9% of it will apply to ASE 15.7.
SAP ASE 16 / Sybase ASE Administration. of Jeffrey Garbus - by SAP PRESS

Hi Cory,
I actually have a copy off the Jeff Garbus book but it is written and directored more at an experienced DBA than a Basis consultant, due to it being very low level more detailed than what is needed for basis work.
At least this is my experience I have only been working on sybase for 5 months now, but best information I have gathered is from sap notes and the infocenter pages and documentation.
I do still occasionally reference the book but my 2cents worth if you are only a basis consultant not permanently engaged on sybase I think you are better of just using these other sources of information.
That having been said there is also very little sybase information out there, and at least here in south africa I have also not seen course offerings , but I am now deviating from the original post.

Dear Ashok,
Your previous thread has been moved to SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP ASE) for Custom Applications: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3777339 The reason is that SUP/SMP is not part of the Business Suite. You may want to check if the suggestion I provided there is helpful for your request.
Regards,
Cris
