HTTPS with client authentication in WS_AAE adapter

Hi All,

We wanted to use sender WS_AAE adapter for integrating with a legacy system for SOAP connectivity. Reason for using WS_AAE is that it provides an option for using custom end points in the adapter configuration and also supports SOAP 1.2. However, we also need an option for using HTTPs with client authentication.

Looking at the SAP documentation for sender WS_AAE adapter I could not find any way of configuring adapter to allow communication only on HTTPS with client auth (similar to what we have on SOAP adapter). Have I missed something or is this feature not available with WS_AAE adapter? Has anyone tried this before?

For receiver WS_AAE adapter, I could see that there is an option to select "Use TLS Client Certificate" and "Valid Remote TLS certificate" and this could work for us.

We checked with SAP and it seems that this feature is not supported in WS_AAE sender adapter.
