Thanks for response Abhilash, but here we have only crystal reports-2011 connnected to oracle database via odbc connection, no bo server or cmc. -santhu

I would try changing the connection to Native Oracle instead of ODBC.  The Native Oracle connection is much more stable and it's also faster than using ODBC.

Where are you running this report from?

I've never seen such an error from the CR Designer.
