Problems running NWBC 5.0 with .NET Framework 4.6

After installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6, NWBC 5.0 displays the Fatal Error, "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 is not installed.  Please contact your administrator." 

I have confirmed that I have a valid .NET Framework 4.6 installation and that the appropriate registry keys for identifying the .NET Framework version are populated.

Is anyone aware of a solution to this problem?

Which Patchlevel of NWBC 5.0? PL7 should be working ;-). or wait a few days. PL8 is on the way.

The patch can be downloaded here:

A- Z Index | SAP Support Portal

1. Click "N"
2. Login
3. Click "NWBC NW BUSINESS CLIENT"
4. Click "NWBC NW BUSINESS CLIENT 5.0"
5. Click "Win32"
6. Download the latest Patch Level
7. Install & Restart

Now I'm able to run Visual Studio 2015 and other software dependent on .NET 4.6.

Hi Steven,

you are right, it seems that "older" versions of NWBC doesn't work with .NET framework 4.6.

But as Patrick said, the actual PL 7 works perfect.
