Hi All,

How to handle navigational attributes in Advanced DSO (BW 7.4 SPS11 on HANA). I could not see any column relevant to Navigational attributes in Advance DSO.

Kindly share your knowledge to handle Navigational attributes in BW 7.4 SPS11.

Hello Chinna,

If you have navigational attributes for a particular info object ;when  you add the info object to ADSO, there is a check box ' use navigational attributes in extraction ' .Please check this then the attributes will be available for extraction in transformation.

This feature is available in 750 and not in 740.

Hi Chinna,

Navigational attributes are not supported for advanced DSOs.  See note 2070577 for more information.

The focus of the advanced DSO is the persistency of the data. Extended reporting capabilites, e.g. navigational attributes, can be defined using the Composite Provider.

Navigational attributes, though, can be defined on the composite provider without being explicitly activated on the aDSO.

Thanks for your reply..!

As per above note , i have created composite provider and included Navigational attribute in the same flow and we create a query on top of composite provider but we did not get any data for navigational attribute.

Could you please help us if there is any limitations to be maintained in composite provider.
