Dear forum
Graduation requests from Self Service can be created by students successfully. The student is restricted to selecting the academic year and session in which the Graduation assessment is "offered". If any other year/session combination is selected, the system returns an error.
However, after the successful creation of the graduation request, the student can change the request data via self service and select ANY academic year and session. This should not have been possible!!
In the back end, in the transaction Edit Graduation per Program, the record in the table summary table shows the academic year/session of the original request (screenshot 1) while the detailed view shows the academic year and session of the changed request (screenshot 2)
Can anyone shed any light?

Hi Andreas,
there is a difference between the academic year and session of the assessment process, which is used for controlling the status of the graduation request (your first screenshot) and the academic year session stored in the graduation itself. You could for instance have a request in one period for graduation in another one. It is not even evident that the period (period group) used in the graduation must be the same as in the assessment process for that.
The request is stored in database table PIQDBCMPRRECORDS, the graduation itself is stored in additional data for relationship 532 between student and qualification.
Regards,
Dirk
