Migrating Current Stage of Quality Level

Hello ,

Our Business requirement is to migrate the Current stage of Quality level for  a Combination of Material/Group/Group Counter /Plant to a new Plant .

On creation of inspection lot in new plant for a material/Group/Group counter, Quality level is getting created but then all stages are in " Initial Stage " .

Is there any way by which we can keep the same stage of quality level which was there in the old plant ?.

Please suggest .

HI Sujit,

If the quality level is not migrated, then while inspection lot is created, it can't judge the effective quality level against which the new level has to be decided. So, what is happening for your case, for the combination is correct.

Sometimes back I have explained the way Quality level can be planned to be migrated (with some exclusions..) in the thread - http://scn.sap.com/thread/3828410

Please can you go through the details, plan for copying the requested details form QDQL (old system) to new system, and let me know after that when a new inspection lot is created for a new material, if it's working fine.
