SAP Work Manager 6.2 - Duplicate notification items

Hi All,

We are working on SAP Work Manager 6.2 application.

We are having an issue while creating notification items from iPad. Duplicate notification items are getting created while adding items from device along with operation time confirmations.

But when adding only notification items , the items are successfully posted without duplications.

Please suggest me on the issue.

Is this an out of the box SAP Work Manager 6.2 install? Was there any upgrade done to the Agentry clients?  In SMP 3.0 during the release of WM 6.2, this was released on an earlier version of SMP 3.0 SDK clients. Since then other production companies, saw an issue with duplication and it was a platform bug (Agentry client). Since then this was release and fix in newer version of the SMP 3.0 SDK.

Please provide your version of the Agentry client (70.X.X) so we may check if you have not applied the fix to this yet if this is related to your issue or worst case upgrade to the latest SMP 3.0 SDK Patch (at least SMP 3.0 SDK SP10 PL06+).

Many thanks for your response.

We have not done any up gradation to the Agentry client and our current Agentry client version is V70.10.7.8.

Below is our SMP SDK and Server patch level details.

SMP SDK: SP10 PL07

SMP Server: SP09 PL04

Hi. There is also an SAP note # Please reference: SAP Note # http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2151097- that entails changing the Agentry Editor rules/definition to improve and fix the duplication. This fix was done in Work Manager 6.1 but you may compare your Agentry editor definition to the fix if your version has the fix to the SAP note.  See if this helps you out.
