Dear Members,
I have a question regarding VMS switch activation in switch framework - SFW5 transaction.
Activation of following business function sets should be in sequence: DIMP_SDUD --> EA-ISE --> LOG_SD_CI_02 (Including dependencies)
We already have a running production system, this switch activation is not done on the Golden client which is an ideal scenario. Does switch activation will impact on already existing processes?
Appreciate if members can comment on above.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards
RB

Hi Rajat,
The sequence is as follows:
1. Install ECC 6.0
2. Activate business function DIMP_SDUD- including any dependency. (first activate any dependency & then activate DIMP_SDUD)
3. Activate (EA-ISE) including any dependency (first activate any dependency & then activate EA-ISE)
4. Activate LOG_SD_CI_01 (Also activate dependent SD_01)
5. Activate LOG_SD_CI_02
As such point step 3, 4 & 5 are optional, however now a days these enhanced features have become necessity. But you can take a call by reading about each of the switch on following links:
