can you please explain in detail about digital signature in SAP SOLUTION MANAGER which means why it is used, what are the requirements for the documents to be digitally signed and implementation?

further i have seen this used mainly pharma companies so that authorized users can set status to RELEASED or final version etc as per customer use case scenario.

authorization object is below which controls the user to digitally signed it

Can you please explain how to create the password in digital signature? Is it should be done in the signature strategy procedure  or some where else.
