Dear Experts,
We are using SAP B1 9.0 PL10 and we installed the Client in a Windows 7 computer.
When we are trying to open it and there is the message "There is a problem with the server's security certificate. The security certificate is not from a trusted certifying authority.SAP Business One is unable to connect to the server".
Regarding to this issue, we have already seen the SAP Note 2331786 - Older SAP Business One clients are suddenly unable to connect to server, but is referring to Windows 10 systems and the below thread and doc :
Do you have any advice?
Kind Regards,
Alexandros Karadimitropoulos

If you cannot find KB3161606 in Win 8.1, search for KB3172614 and uninstall it.
Alexandros,
The Cumulative update for Windows 10 : July 12, 2016 (KB3163912) will also cause this issue.
The work-around is also to uninstall. as per the previous posts.
See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3163912 and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3172985
As the Cumulative update (KB3163912) includes a security update to resolve vulnerabilities in the Windows Kernel (KB3171910), amongst other critical updates, repeated "resolutions" from various support persons that the work-around of removing these updates is the only current resolution, may well put client's machines at risk.
This is now on ongoing issue that needs to be escalated further as the previous Cumulative update (KB3163018): June 14, 2016, that is mentioned by other posters, also caused this issue.

Matthew van Vuuren

Hi,
Please follow the below step.....
Option 1
On Windows 10, you go
Start
Settings
Update&Security
Advanced Options
View your update history
Uninstall updates
option 2
Then select the KB3163018 (it will be far down, under Microsoft Windows). It will require a reboot.
There is a problem with the server's security certificate. The security certificate is not from a trusted certifying authority. SAP Business One is unable to connect to the server." when double-click on SAP icon on windows 10 desktop, then i go to "view installed update" from appwiz.cpl and uninstall most recent "Microsoft Windows" update named "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB#######)" then restart computer.
