The solution is to move the export files(1 through 😎 to a local drive. During the install process the user changes to the local database admin user which does not have authorization for the mapped drives.

Hi,

Check the following:

1. X:\ ? is this the correct drive name ?

2. Does the directory path exist "x:/usr/sap/sapint/installation0/" ?

3. If all the above is true, check if there is enough diskspace you have for creation of the file and the database.

Hi,

Does this path /usr/sap/sapint/installation0 exist ?

if not probably the mapping is not working.

SAPINST sometimes behaves wierd with Drive mapping.

Is it possible to use normal drives instead of mapped drives.

Siddhesh

hi

Actually the path is X:\usr\sap\SAPinst\installation0/, the path exists. In AS/400 we have to install the SAP through windows and not through the console. So Mapping is the only way.
