We are running an Microsoft Cluster System on Windows Server 2003, XI 3.0 SP12, and R/3 Enterprise on a unix sparc 64 o/s.
We are having an error when running sldcheck from R/3 - not XI. The error is as follows:
Testing the SLD API
An exception has occured
Description: Exception in SLD client: AbapSLDRequestHandler.ping(): server connection *** failed *** on Tue Sep 06 15:29:53 BST 2005
Clearing the local SLD cache
Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
Function call returned exception code 4
=> Check whether the SLD is running!
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
I have gone through the Problem Analysis Guide and still at a loss as to why.
The SLD Launches okay in browser from R/3.
The RFC connection tests work for SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC from SM59.
The SLDAPICUST are maintained correctly.
The JCO Provider for the SLD host are running correctly on the host system.
Can anyone sugeest anything else to check before I open a call to SAP?
Regards
Very Confused.
Hi,
Go through hte PAG of <b>"Access To SLD From ABAP Fails"</b>
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
Once we had a similar problem and we were suggested by SAP to look at ths doc. Things started working properly after going thru this guide. Kindly follow all the steps in the Guide properly.
Cheers,
Siva Maranani.
