BC sets Trasport & Activation

Hi there ,

I believe that to use the BC sets in other SAP system we can either transoprt the same in other system or we can dowmload the BC sets then upload in the system where we want to use the same and activate........

Please confirm me whether I am correct that we can trasport the BC sets .....is yes then please tell me how we can do the same.......

Hi,

first u have transport the BC SET to corresponding client system.After u have to activate the BC SET using transaction code SCPR20.

Hello Kaushik,

There are 3 options avaiable.

1. Transport the BC set object itself. And then activate the BC Set in the target system.

2. Downlaod and upload of Bc Set followed by activation.

3. You can record the activation into a transport request and release.

This will only transport the content of BC Set to the target system.

For this, client setting should be set to Automatic recording of BC Sets.

Third method is suggested when you want to activate the BC Set in a production system.
