Employee role is missing in BP roles

Hi,

Employee role is missing in BP roles what would be the problem?

Hello Davi,

You might have HR integration activated.

Try to check the following entry in T77S0 table:

grpid = 'HRALX'

semid = 'HRAC'

Then, if gsval field has an X, means that HR integration is activated, and you are unable to create employee role.

Try temporary to empty this field, and check again if employee role appears in your BP transaction (your R3 HR integration will be deactivated, until you set X value again).

As Bruno mentioned this one place where Customizing is maintained for HR integration. If after this temporary check, the employee role is still not available then you can create the BP Employee directly launching the transaction BUM1.

Hi Devi,

Employee is a std role check in BUSD transaction, i hope it is available there, sometimes if u restart the server u can get that

u can also use BUSD to create roles

Hi Devi,

Just check in the SPRO Menu:

IMG->Cross-Application Components->SAP Business Partner->Business Partner->Basic Settings->Business Partner Roles->Define BP Roles,

select BUP003-Employee and go to details and verify whether in General Data Hide field is unchecked.
