ERP 6.0 (and products based on NW 7.0) use a "new" license (digitally signed) which can´t be imported any more using saplicense.

You have to logon to the system and execute transaction SLICENSE, press on "New Licenses" and import your license file.

Hello,

I cannot logon into system as backup of PRD is refreshed in DEV server so license is also over written so i have to rectify it from OS level only.

I also tried to apply note 672258 changes but still no sucess.

isrdserver:devadm 69> more license.txt

Login in client 000 using DDIC or SAP*.

It´s simply not possible to apply the license on OS level.

But I am not able to Logon in 000 or 001 using DDIC/SAP* as its giving me error -

"Logon not possible ....Error in License check."

So wat shd i do?? as there is SID change so temp license is also over written in target system.

add the given parameter to the instance profile (using e. g. notepad or vi) and restart your instance. Then logon using SAP*

You have to login in client 000 with user "SAP*" - the password is the "master password" you gave during installation.

Dear all,

problem is resolved with the following sql cmd.

delete from <schemaid>.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='000';

after that was able to login into the system.

thanks a lot for all of them.
