Hi Friends
At my client place they forecast the sales based on sales forecast of their customers. Which means if customer targets an increase in the production assume by 5% for 2009-2010
period we would like to ensure that we are geared up to cater to that demand. This input also serves the dual purpose of helping us gauge how we actually fared as against the originally forecasted sales volumes which means the data should serve as a reference. Can anyone please advise how to maintain such sales forecast data in SAP.
Many thanks

Hi
Thanks for your valuable inputs but I need help in capturing the Sales plan which forms a part of the overall business plan of the organization. Which means the forecast data maintained in sales plan has implications on all the different departments and also this plan should not be modifiable. If it can be modified we should have reference to the original values for the sake of reporting as to how much of the original forecast was actually achieved. Please advise.
Many thanks
