#SAPtd TechEd d-code SAP BI recommendations

I along with over 5,000 of my closest friends :grin: will be attending SAP d-code this month SAP TechEd && d-code Las Vegas.  Think of it as Coachella for IT - SAP TechEd && d-code is for IT and the people who live it.

If you are still working on your schedule I have some recommendations.  When attending a SAP or ASUG conference I look for Ingo Hilgefort’s sessions first. I’m looking for information on visualizations of information currently concentrating on insuring BI is delivering to business requirements and to understand options for implementing and rolling out the toolsets. And Ingo is a wealth of knowledge on SAP BI including integration aspects, visualization and business scenario usage.

Also on Monday Ingo is presenting for the ASUG SAP TechEd d-code Pre-Conference Sessions BI4.1 with BW on HANA hands-on session. This is an all-day session running 8:30 – 5:00 on Monday October 20^th.

In this session Ingo will be reviewing the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI) 4.1 tools which are the latest suite release from SAP and offers a broad set of BI tools to choose from. Each tool has its own special focus in the area of reporting and analytics. This full-day, hands-on seminar is a series of activities focused on SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 products in combination with SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), SAP BW on SAP HANA, and SAP ERP. Attendees will learn to use the different products from the SAP BusinessObjects BI suite 4.1 in combination with SAP data including SAP Lumira SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office and more

Ingo Hilgefort has been with SAP since 1999 starting with Crystal Decisions.  In addition to his experience in product management and engineering, Ingo has been involved in building and delivering Business-Objects with SAP software for a number of worldwide customers. He has also been recognized by the SDN and Business-Objects communities as an SDN Mentor for Business-Objects and SAP integration-related topics. Recently, Ingo has been working on BI end-to-end solution architecture, focusing on the SAP Business-Objects BI portfolio and helping customersand partners successfully deploy this as part of their overall SAP landscape. He is also the author of several additional SAP PRESS books: Reporting and Analytics with SAP Business-Objects, Inside SAP Business-Objects Explorer, Inside SAP Business-Objects Advanced Analysis, and Integrating SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.x with SAP NetWeaver.
