Hi Experts,
When i am trying to unarchive a repository, the MDM throws an error saying "Table Not found".
The same repository i was able to archive, but unable unarchive, the same issue occurs on all archives, i could see all archive files were available.
Please letme know what could be the issue.
Regards,
Giridharan
Hi Ankeet,
After a long analysis with SAP its found that the issues is with the user privileges.
Actually the schema tables were created with a user id and during server migration the schema got transferred to DBA user id, hence the current ownership of the schema lied on DBA user id.
Hence the original user id is no more valid to create or unarchive repositories. From DBA user id we were able to unarchive and create repositories.
We have not yet taken decision wether to continue with DBA user id or to migrate the schema from DBA to the regular id.
Thanks for all the inputs.
Regards,
Giridharan

Hi,
As soon as we archive a repository in MDM a new instance is created in underlying database.
The above error suggests, MDM is unable to find the required instance.
You could restart the MDM Server and try archiving and unarchiving the same.

Hi,
If u are still facing the problem, it could be because of 2 reasons.
1. Back-end connectivity with DBMS layer
2. Error while archiving the repository.
Check out the following threads, if necessary u need to delete the repository from the database layer and re-create from the old archive.
