Alerts are not getting generated for new scenarios

Hello All SAP PI Experts,

We had configured alert setup using SolMan for PI 7.4 single stack two months ago. We had created alert rule objects in ID and included all the scenarios that were existing then. The alerts would get generated for all the errors.

Later, some more scenarios were created and these ICOs were added under alert rule objects. But now, the errors are not getting reported for the new ICOs although it is working fine for old ICOs.

Kindly suggest what actions need to be taken for this.

Hi Ajeya,

This happened to me aswell. Would suggest setting up a new Consumer. This solved my problem. Started using the standard consumer that is ALERT-TO-MAIL.

Please also setup Hermes to see if the errors were placed into the JMS queue.

Hi Ajeya,

There might be problem with CPA cache, try to refresh cache and see the result.

Thanks Krupa for the quick reply. Can u please tell me how its done ? Is that going to affect the whole system ? Will it need system refresh ?
