How to put in display mode the W-4 Tax Withholding in ESS

Hi,

I would like to put in display mode the W4 in the ESS.

Do I have to modify the Web Dynpro HRESS_C_W4 to do this?

You can restrict changing and deleting W4 by proper use case configuration in V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP. The respective infotype is 0210 and the subtype is the tax form, e.g. FED for federal and CA for California here in the U.S.

W4 ESS is a localized development - it can be quite different from other Webdynpro applications

for various reasons - usually due to legal requirements

Have you tested the parameter READ_ONLY_PERSONAL_PROFILE with W4 ?
