How to know if CMS is running?

Hi friends

First at all I want to clear I´m totally new in SAP, so maybe this is a simple question for you.

I access to CMS in NWDI portal using this link: http://<hostname>.<dominio>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~SL~CMS~WebUI/Cms, but I´m not really sure if this service (CRM) is running. Can you please share with me how to check this service and confirm that is up and running? Would be great if you can show me how you check CMS service at SAP level and OS level (Unix).

CMS is an NWDI component which is not portal specific, this question should be asked in appropriate forum, you are wrong here. However, NWDI has a web front end, you could use this to check the status?
