BO4.1 report not opening in SAP Portal content area as expected

Hi Team,

We are creating a BO4.1 report iview  (http://<System.wap.CRYSTAL_ENTERPRISE.hostname>/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=AYV5vfwtbJFNoW4BsptKfV0)

in SAP NW 7.0 portal and noticed that the iview is not opening in Portal content area but opening as a separate BO Info view logon page screen (SSO is still not configured and hence the logon page). But parallely we have BO 3.1 report iview which opens in Portal content area as expected.

Also when we try to display BO4.1 iview as separate portal window by changing the iview property to DISPLAY IN SEPARATE PORTAL WINDOW

still this BO 4.1 report iview is opening as BO logon page and not as sap portal window with TLN and DLN around it.

Attached are the screenshots for your reference.

Existing view of BO 3.1 report in Portal which will display in Separate portal window which is as expected

BO 4.1 report is directly opening as open-document window even though iview property is chosen as DISPLAY IN SEPARATE PORTAL WINDOW

We want this report also to open as displayed above as portal window as end user are using ADD TO PORTAL FAVOURITES option.

Please suggest if any of you have encountered a similar issue while integrating BO 4.1 reports in SAP NW 7.0 portal and any fix for this issue.

regards

Bharat

thanks for the reply. But we are yet to configure singlesignon but without SSO it should prompt us for a logon page but in our case when we display the iview in Separate portal window it is not displayed in portal window but directly the logon page of BO system. We need portal window as the endusers are using the property ADD TO PORTAL FAVOURITES when a report is displayed in Portal window.
