SFTP Receiver adapter - Store attachments File name issue

Former Member

Hello All ,

We are picking up one main file and one additional file from Sender SFTP adapter.

At the receiver SFTP adapter we have checked Store attachments option to store both the files at target directory.

The issue we are facing is that the attachment file is not getting generated with proper name.

It is generated as Main Filename_Attached Filename.

For e.g.  ABC.xml is the main file name & ABC.jpg is the attached file name.

Can Someone please help in this regard. We want the attached file name to be same as source i.e. ABC.jpg only.

I have posted another question : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3722046

Thanks

Parameter Name     : retain.attachment.name

Parameter value      : true

Hello Praveen ,

In receiver SFTP adapter there is no Advanced mode option.

Are you referring to FTP adapter?

Thanks

You might have the very initial version of secure connectivity add-on.

Advanced mode was added as part of SP01.

Yes. Did you also import the relevant ESR content? i.e. SFTP adapter ESR content for SP01?

Yes Hareesh ESR content for sftp is already there...In our scenario it is bypass scenario.Do you have any idea which patch upgrades will be needed for the sftp advanced option.

Thanks

I know you have ESR content else you don't even see the adapter in the drop-down but for which version it belongs to?

Expand the SWCV SFTP ADAPTER 1.0 and open the adapter metadata for SFTP. You should see a description

Are you sure you have the SP01 content?

Hi Gaurav,

Can you able to see below parameters in your SFTP Metadata?

The below tab definition is for advanced tab in the channel

sftp.advanced (Advanced Mode check box)

sftp.addParameterParams (Additional Parameters table)

sftp.addParameterParamName (Table Parameter Name)

sftp.addParameterParamValue (Table Parameter Value)

Regards,

Praveen.

Hi Praveen ,

I have checked these all parameters are present in the metadata.

Thanks

Hi Gaurav,

If you are able to see all those parameters then you should be able to see the advanced tab in the communication channel, try import the metadata again into repository and select the SFTP adapter again from the channel.

Praveen.

I´m using retain.attachment.name as true, like in your printscreen, and i´m still getting the attchment name concatenated with the main file name.
