SAP HANA Live query in CRM

Hello experts,

I was wondering, if it is possible to display a query I created in Eclipse using HANA tools in CRM? HANA Live is enabled on CRM side, I see my query in HANA Live browser, but I don't know, if it's possible to run it directly in CRM WebUI.

Dear Vladislav,

You can consume the OData of the HANA views in CRM WebUI.

Hi Mathan,

Thank you for the reply. Maybe you could answer another question then. If I have my own HANA view, should I create xsodata and xsodata.json files for this view to be consumed? Or is there a way to generate them manually?

Dear Vlad,

For custom HANA views you need to create custom OData files inorder to consume it in CRM HANA Live reporting.

Please read the blog on how to create OData service.

Dear Mathan,

Do you know if OData file should be created directly in package sap/hba/apps/crmhlq/odata ? Or can I create OData file in my own package?

If I have to use my own package, how do I find it when I need to test in browser?

You can create OData files in custom package.

URL for your OData in custom package will as follows given "team" is your custom package name.

http://<HANA_host>:<XS_http_Port>/team/custom.xsodata
