Error during upgrade in MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG

Hi,

iam upgrading a system from ERP6.0 EHP6 to ERP6.0 EHP7 version. The following error is thrown by SUM in Preprocessing Phase.

Checks after phase MAIN_SHDRUN/ACT_UPG were negative!

ERROR:
  Detected the following errors:

1EEDO519X"DB Prozedur Proxy" "PPH_V02_MRP_CHECK_SEL" could not be activated
1EEDO519 "DB Prozedur Proxy" "PPH_V02_MRP_COMPARE_MDPS" could not be activated
1EEDO519 "DB Prozedur Proxy" "PPH_V02_MRP_MAT_PLANT" could not be activated

  3 EDT014XActivate dependent table "/LICMAN/BS_RECOM"
  1EEDT352 Search field "/LICMAN/BS_RECOM"-"SYSID" of search help attachment: search help "/LICMAN/MS_SYSID" not active
  3 EDT015 Dependent table "/LICMAN/BS_RECOM" was not activated
1EEDO519 "Table" "/LICMAN/BS_RECOM" could not be activated

The first 3 errors (PPH*) can be ignored. It is already discussed in many scn posts.

What about the 4th error - Table "/LICMAN/BS_RECOM" could not be activated. Can it also be ignored?

I tried to manually activate the table in Shadow system but giving the same error. I have found only one post similar to my error -

Hi,

one more information:

iam upgrading the Development system to to ERP6.0 EHP7 version SP11 Stack.

OS is AIX and DB is Oracle.

Dear Mohan,

Problem related to proxy is being discussed in one of the forum and solution has been mentioned. Kindly refer the below thread.

1EEDO519 "DB Prozedur Proxy" "PPH_V02_MRP_COMPARE_MDPS" could not be activated
1EEDO519 "DB Prozedur Proxy" "PPH_V02_MRP_MAT_PLANT" could not be activated

Also regarding the /LICMAN error, this not customer namespace I believe which has been came with third party software which is used by you for license management in SAP.

SO I would suggest you can ignore and accept this error and go ahead and later on with discussion with third party vendor you can take necessary action or If you have enough time in your hand, you as get the solution now itself from third party vendor.

Hi Krishna,

The field in a search help seems to be inactive.

go to table /LICMAN/BS_RECOM - check the type assignment of field SYSID ( Data element + domain) and activate it.

then activate the table /LICMAN/BS_RECOM.

I too faced this issue while upgrading from EHP6 to EHP7 and below note and link helped me to fix this:

Hi Anil,

i have talked with the concerned team and they have said the same thing as you. They will look into it after the upgrade. So, i can now ignore the error and proceed with the upgrade. Thank you very much.
